Arveia is situated in Roccaverano wich is the small capital of the Langhe of Asti ( Langa Astigiana).
The village is isolated on a large hill 800 meters (2640 ft.) above sea level, which divides the two valleys of the River Bormida. It is surrounded by ancient watch towers and is immersed in a landscape of woods, terraces, farmsteads and wild or man-designed pastures.
